I’ve written about the risk Democrats are taking that
something terrible might happen to Joe Biden in campaign season that would
materially affect his chances of winning reelection.
Another risk is that there could be some smoking-gun
revelation regarding Biden Inc. that is a torpedo to the bow.
The press is never going to be as hostile and suspicious
as it’d be if this much smoke surrounded a Republican president and his family,
but it’s not going to ignore everything, as
we saw in the press briefing today:
